Help Identifying Ducks, Southern NJ USA, spotted today (1 Viewer)

Had this pair of ducks cruise by today, and was wondering what kind they were...

I did try looking it up first, but out of the 21 kinds found here in NJ, I didn't see any that looked like these ???

What kind of Duck?

Any idea?

Certainly no expert but I’d go for female / eclipse wood duck

Thanks, that makes sense, we have wood ducks here,
I guess I never noticed the eclipse plumage.
I thought maybe a juvenile of something but they didn't look that young.
