Heron or Bittern - Eastern Ontario, Canada (1 Viewer)

This was shot yesterday in eastern Ontario, Canada and there's some debate whether it was a green heron or an American bittern, or none of the above? Can anyone ID it?

No doubt at all it's a green heron. Bitterns are just duller overall, lacking the green-and-gold scapulars over the wing, the bluish flight feathers, and the bluish cap on the head. The lores (yellow markings in front of the eye) are also much brighter in Green Heron than in bittern, with a different shape.
