House Sparrows (1 Viewer)

Hi, we have a tube feeder in our yard (very small yard, only room for one feeder) and the house sparrows have taken it over. They chase off other birds: tufted titmice, chickadees, etc.

How can we discourage this type of behavior? They are total bullies. I've read that changing the feed might help. Right now there is cracked corn in the feed and apparently they love that.

Does anyone have any tips or advice? I'd like to see other birds at our feeder.

thanks,

Kathleen
