I expect we will be seeing more and more of the so called "yuck duck". One yesterday and another to-day in a different place with a large duckling.

I'm impressed you can ID a Nike trainer upside down! top stuff ...

ad bird looks like a Mallard x Mallard domest x Eider x Canvasback and with a little bit of Magpie
 
It's amazing how often these hybrids end up looking like they're part eider, when I'm sure most of them haven't got a drop of eider in them...
