I've just returned from a holiday in Nerja, Spain. Distant shot of this bird which I presume is an escape / feral bird. Starling size and in a scrubby dry river bed within the town. Can someone please name it for me.
 
Seems to be one of the Glossy Starlings of Africa; genus Lamprotornis , I think,was it...best to wait for an expert to give the exact species...but in Spain this has indeed to be an escapee.
