can anyone id this bird shown on the attachment please
Took it last year and was only reminded when a similar bird was present in the old vineyard last week.

They appear to be, but the closest leg is just in a shadow. Looks like most of the bird facing the camera is in a shadow, actually.
 
Thanks to all for the ID, it was taken in an old vineyard area, Send, near Woking, Surrey, and as suggested was in the shadow of a tree, although bird was on top of scrub, brambles, only had a chance of the snatch shot before bird dived into cover, many thanks again for the help, best wishes Dave

Dived in to cover? Really thick cover so you could not see it? Got to be a Garden Warbler as the others said!
