Probably a rove beetle (Staphylinidae) but really wouldn't want to be more specific!

I`d say it is a Dragonfly larva, but I can`t say which one from a photo, my guess would be one of the Hawkers or Emperor.

Looking at the angle of the eyes I think it's Emperor.

Head, body shape & colour all consistant, the larval length should be 45-56mm
