I'd like some help to ID a few birds please. Some I think I know, others, I haven't a clue. All taken within a few days of each other during August. Sorry the pics aren't great but hopefully someone can help.

First ones were taken at Baron's Haugh 2nd August 2011

1. Snipe?
2. What is the wader in the middle of this pic?
3. ?

Next two are of a Gull, taken at Dundee 9th August 2011, both are pics of the same Gull.

4. Common Gull?
5. Same bird

Any help appreciated |=)|

I was wondering if the last one might be a Roseate Tern - the bill looks long, the wings rather short and uniformly pale??

Isn't it just a Sandwich Tern taken at a funny angle??

Its might be - they can be surprisingly similar viewed from below without a size guide. However whilst I'm not 100%sure of the bill colour, I'm pretty sure that the legs are red as opposed to black.

Thanks everyone for all your help, I had thought that the wader in number 2 was a Ruff, thanks for confirming this |=)|

As for the second Tern, I had thought Common myself but really don't know enough to positively ID it myself. I'm pretty sure that the bill is red, it looks red when I look at the unedited version on my computer. Here's the unedited copy I saved on Flickr for anyone to try and edit it to the best effect and thus allow identification http://www.flickr.com/photos/30990364@N04/6117838748/
