Hello there :)

today I´ve been to a wonderful birding spot in my area (Hiroshima) and wanted to get in some more opinions before I share my observations on Ebird. So here are the photos and my identifications.

photos 1-2: red breasted Merganser
photos 3-4: American Widgeon
photo 5: long billed Plover
photo 6-7: Gadwell
photo 8-9: Northern Shoveler
photo 10-12: ?, maybe Greater Scaup?
photo 13-14 : Black-headed Gull?

All look good, the Am Wigeon is a bit tricky as there are quite some hybrids around...but it looks good to me too.

hm, i forgot that the reddish colour is fine for AmWi. I don't see a real problem as your bird is a bit bleached out.
There are tons of more expert duckists here who will know
