Number four in Post 1726 reminds me very much of Millais' "Ophelia", U!

The light upon the waters at Woodwalton Fen, where that pic was taken, was sublime H2...[however...i didn't see any floating ladies whilst i was there]...;)

Glad you like...!

Dragon days have been far and few between this year owing to the appalling weather..but apart from my earlier visit for these creatures at Woodwalton i did snap a few dragonflies locally...

The textures of the waters, as always, fascinated me....forgive my abstractions in last two images...in particular last one that i turned the waters into fire....

Elemental...[or just plain 'mental']...:smoke:

A wealth of variety here User. My guess is that Brancusi is jealous of number two.

Brancusi would not be jealous of a foolish fellow like me Ken...;)...but i thank you for highlighting his 'bird in space'...the essence of flight...etc

The dragonfly would make a nice bronze...[at least i think that was your reference]..?

Here's some recent floral images i've been working on....[still tinkering with variations...and these are in no particular order...yet]...

Thank you for reply, solitaryVSong. My comment/question was a kind of joke - Brancusi was a ROMANIAN sculptor and I now a lot about his work.

Hi Cristian,

I did find it somewhat surprising that you didn't know who he was given where you live. I guess Ishould have realized that you were kidding.

Ken

Ken...sometimes i misinterpret folks comments...easy to do over the net and when you don't know the nature of who is commenting...:smoke:

I suspected Cristian was kidding...[reckon its time to introduce a 'tongue in cheek' icon]....chuckle..!

Anyways up....here's a few images i've been 'working' on whilst scribbling elsewhere about yesterdays storm chasing antics...[not quite finished yet...sort of in progress]....

I found the distortions intriguing through the car looking glass...

Nature has a lot to offer....

Words have been useful, but in English I find it sometimes very difficult to express myself, and see it from the perspective of time to get a woman speechless and still in a positive way ...:-Oo:)

I consider my English to be very limited Gaby...and i'm from England....:smoke:

You converse very well...!

Art in 'all' its forms is a much better way of communicating to folks methinks...

As my evening owling activities have been curtailed by yet another downpour over the shires....i may as well use the time to put up some bits i've been 'working on' of late...

Nothing special and very simple....

And a few more indicative of recent weather....[the last image i saw as a breeding colony of seabirds over cliffs]...whereas in reality it was just a muddy water filled tyre track....:smoke:

As i wandered the sodden fields i had to beware of what lay beneath my feet...[as in that first little critter in pic 1]....:cat:
