Immature Common/Roseate Tern, New York, USA (1 Viewer)

Not sure if this is an immature Common Tern or Roseate Tern. Would appreciate help on this and tips on how to distinguish these two as first summer birds.

Bill looks a bit on the thick side, favoring Common Tern, but carpal bar is very weak. I think I see some white on the inner edges of the primaries, but possibly a photo artifact.

The bill looks a bit better for common tern as well. Roseate tern bills are thinner and longer and it gives them an overall sleeker looking head profile.
