Immature hawk – Idaho (1 Viewer)

Saw this hawk last month in Boise, Idaho. Yellow eyes suggests immature. Cooper's hawk? Sharp-skinned? Something else?

Juvenile sharp-sHinned hawk: blobby pattern on underparts, outermost tail-feather ± as long as others, small bill+steep forehead (not a good angle to judge this).

Agreed. For a juvenile like this, the breast pattern being paler / broader streaks that turn into tear drops is pretty definitive. Beyond that the tail agrees, as does the small bill (some people use the term "parakeet like" which I think is a fair descriptor).
