Is anyone familiar with this painting? (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone!

My grandma has a painting that was purchased by my grandfather before he passed away. She asked me if I knew anything of it. I am a graphic designer but I am out of touch when it comes to paintings, especially ones of wildlife. I was wondering if anyonr here would be able to help me. It seems pretty faded/old but the signature is still in tact reading "G Emerson".

Thank you!20211030_114724.jpg

I have no idea but it sure is a beautiful work of art.

Hi Mizuno and a warm welcome from me too.

I found an artist called Dan G Emerson by Googling. He was based in Canada. I don't know if that helps?

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

I think I found the artist:. Catalog
Though his son had the same name and also was an artist.

The birds are Northern Cardinals. I have no idea why one of them is blue.
