Is this a new edition of Jenni-Winkler? (1 Viewer)

I have just found an old topic about the Jenni & Winkler's "Moult and Ageing of European Passerines" that suggested that the book with a wing of jay as covert image at this link may be a new german edition of the former "bible" from the same authors.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any review or sample page on the net.

Does someone know if it is a new edition or can post a photo of a couple of pages about ageing/sexing individuals?

Thank you very much in advance.

It does not say anything about moult in the title, and the price looks suspiciously low for a complete version. I hope someone can answer directly. Otherwise, I could go and check as I live near the Swiss Bird Station.

I'm not sure either. I found a German review of the title. The book obviously has 222pages, including photographs and drawings. The review says that it is a german version of "Moult and Ageing of European Passerines", but not the same.

The book is on my bookshelf ;)

At first there are just 12 color images of wings in the indroduction (none in the species part!) , hence not a competitor to the "bible" by same authors! Size is 17 x 12 cm.

Indroduction part is very short: Wing topography, moult cycle, age identification, pneumatisation of the head, sexing.

Followed by the specimen part:
Exempel:

Skylark (Alauda arvensis)

Moulting schema (adult and 1. year birds [sometimes supplemented by last years bird])
Age ID:
basics
Criteria (pneumatisation, plumage)
Sexing

Age ID is separated in spring and automn.

I think on the german book market you will not find a better book about moulting and aging of oscine birds.

Supplementary, Svensson´s "Identification Guide to European Passerines" is it´s neighbour ;)
