I found this singing Phylloscopus very intriguing. Maybe I am thinking too much into it, but I can never recall hearing this type of song before, putting it in layman's terms it sounds very much like chiff chiff chiff chiff chaff chaff chaff rather than the usual chiff chaff chiff chaff chiff chiff chaff. This may well be in variation, but I see a similarity with certain iberian chiff chaff calls, and wondered if there is anyone with more knowledge on this than myself. Could hybridization be a factor? Let me know!:)
