Juv Linnet? N Uist. Outer Hebrides (1 Viewer)

Not sure with this guy. Seen this week on N Uist. The yellowish bill has me in doubt.
Perhaps a juvenile Linnet but would welcome confirmation or correction

It's not a Linnet but the closely related Twite

Beautiful Twite. The bill colour, the wing bars, all point to Twite. A very beautiful bird and a wonderful find.

Thanks Guys, I had thought about Twite but I thought the bill looked a little too large. Perhaps it is just the angle of the head.

Can see why - but everything else is spot on - so as you rightly say - angle is distorting a little.
