Hi
We have a 2 week itinerary in Thailand which has rolled from 2020 and 2021 so hopefully will finally get to travel this December. We are still to confirm the last 3 nights which will be in Southern Thailand, probably at Khao Lak. Can anyone recommend anywhere good close to Khao Lak to spend a few hours birdwatching early am or late pm ? Per this excellent website Southern Thailand Bird Watching Sites .....it seems that Laem Pakarang would be a good option but looks like all other recommended sites would be >1hr away which rules out a 2-3 hr visit ?
Also can anyone recommend a good local birdguide ?
