Feedback

Guilty of being a silent observer ...always appreciated though :t:

Hi Jos
Obviously I know that you're a Birdforum old timer now.;)
I try to keep this thread going as I know there are folks out there
that don't like Facebook, the main news source, I guess that there may
be a few more joining them after this weeks events.
Regards & thanks

Aegean Air Flights via Athens to Mitilini and return - A warning

Following recent feedback from other websites, I would advise anyone travelling to Lesvos with Aegean Air , with connecting "island hop flights" , to please check their bookings.
There have been a number of instances where flight times for these flights have been altered, in some cases significantly, without prior notification.

Aegean flight changes

I second that advice from Mick - Aegean cancelled my flight out at first light April 17th, meaning a complete route re-think. I lose a night on the island, sadly.

22 March 2018 - common swifts over Mitilini

I second that advice from Mick - Aegean cancelled my flight out at first light April 17th, meaning a complete route re-think. I lose a night on the island, sadly.

Sorry to hear that but par for the course , it seems.

24 March 2018 Mute Swan - Kalloni Salt Pans

Local enthusiast Ellada Valerie photographed the Mute Swan below, at Kalloni Salt Pans on 24 March. The species is surprisingly scarce on Lesvos, being mainly a winter visitor. Last time that I saw one was in May 2002 at Mesa.
