Hi All,
Since the turn of the millennium, Myanmar has opened up its borders to foreigners, including birdwatchers. In addition to the element of discovery, Myanmar has much to offer in terms of its known endemics and the numerous near-endemics. FYI, its known endemics are the white-throated babbler, burmese bushlark, hooded treepie, Jerdon's minivet and white-browed nuthatch
While I have yet to confirm the itinerary, you may be certain that I will be covering both Bagan and Mt Victoria to see and photograph all the known endemics. The dates and trip duration are tentatively set at early December and 12 days respectively. My budget for the trip is less than USD$2000 (finger-crossed), so you may use that as an estimate.
If you are interested in birding in W, C Myanmar, please feel free to drop me an email @ [email protected] for more details. (Currently, I am still short of 2 participants to form a group of 4 to lower the cost of the trip.)
Hope to receive some responses soon!
Cheers,
Jia Sheng
