Olive Sided Flycatcher? N. IL. USA 5/7/22 (1 Viewer)

Hey All,

This is the first time Ive tried IDing a olive sided flycatcher on my own. At first I thought I was looking at a peewee, but then noticed the beak, and breast were a bit different.

This bird has (given that it's in the shade) a pretty contrasty whitish throat so I don't think that's a key feature - it's more that the dark flanks of olive-sided flycatcher are better-defined and that white extends from lower belly continuously up to chin.
