Pair of Red Kites (1 Viewer)

Spent the day photographing red Grouse today had a wonderful day out and it was all so nice surprise to see a pair of red kites out this afternoon over Ilkley Moor for about half an hour.
Great photo, shows the markings superbly 👍

Will never forget my first sighting of one & the sheer magnificence of it, 1995, was flopped on my back on bracken on a hillside about 6 miles N.of Ilkley (as the Red Kite flies!) while out walking my dog - one swooped right over me, really low, no more than 100 feet (going by bungee jump crane) - I think it was investigating if I might be dinner!
