Mehd Halaouate has just sent me numerous images for the ABID taken in Papua, (west of Jayapura) recently.
Most are of species that are rarely photographed. (see http://www.aviceda.org/abid/newimages.php)
He has identified most but there are three outstanding, one looks like a honeyeater, another a friarbird and the last could be an oriole (....but could be a honeyeater!)
Possible Honeyeater (http://www.aviceda.org/abid/birdimages.php?action=birdspecies&fid=63&bid=1561)
Possible Friarbird (http://www.aviceda.org/abid/birdimages.php?action=birdspecies&fid=63&bid=1562)
Possible Oriole (http://www.aviceda.org/abid/birdimages.php?action=birdspecies&fid=69&bid=1564)
Unfortunately I've had to disable the comments section on the ABID, but if you have any thoughts could you email this address.
