Found this under a large oak. I've heard a tawny owl pair in the area so I'm thinking it's one of them, but as I've not ID'd a pellet before, I'd appreciate a better informed second opinion. Haven't dissected it yet, but as far as I can see, it's got quite a few beetle remains and bits of fur.

The size of the pellet point to Barn owl.
Is there any hole in the oak?

There is a hole in the oak, about 10ft above the ground. The pellet was directly beneath it. Would this suggest barn owl rather than tawny?
