Good day everyone,

Terrible photo quality. It's a screenshot of a video a friend filmed yesterday.

The bird seems to have a blue eye and yellowish beak. Any ideas please?

Thank you dw87. It could be yes, but I'm not seeing the yellow patch behind the eye. It could be there though, since the pic quality is so poor.

Probably a Myna. I don't know very well the birds of SE Asia, but can't really find an alternative option, specially in that particular island (and up in a palm tree).
