Good afternoon!

I spent the morning setting up perches for yard bird photography. This bird popped onto a perch for a couple of seconds... enough to get 4 shots. I am confused with the species - I initially thought it was a juvenile Verdin, but my guide shows both adult and juvenile with a dark beak, not the color that this shows.

Any help would be very gratefully received.

Thanks.

Nice picture. One of my favorite AZ birds, loved having them as yard birds.
