Hi,
"It is now over a decade that our organisation, SEO/BirdLife, in close collaboration with the HCEFLCD (Haut Commissariat aux Eaux et forêts et à la Lutte Contre la Désertification) and PNSM (Souss-Massa National Park) and with the contribution of international NGOs (RSPB…), has worked without respite and relentlessly for safeguarding and maintaining the last and only viable wild population of Northern Bald Ibis (Geronticus eremita) in the world, a bird that came close to extinction and despite the efforts and the improvement of the status of the population, remains classified as a Critically Endangered species by IUCN.
The hope that has this species to escape the fate of extinction and recover its population requires daily monitoring and protection, a task which requires apart from the willingness a financial contribution essential to maintains conservation activities.
The Bald Ibis is a rare and critically endangered species; it is just beginning to recover its population. Help us to protect and preserve it!"
