Pochard, Greylag? Carsington Water (1 Viewer)

A friend sent this to me to ID. I live in the US, so not too familiar with these birds.
They said:
Spotted on Carsington Water, Derbyshire. I was informed by a few in the bird hide it was a red-headed pochard. I know it is not. We suspect a juvenile graylag.

Any help much appreciated.

I can't see anything in this picture that would point towards Greylag. I don't see many Red Crested Pochard but I can't see why it isn't one.

Spot on for female Red-crested Pochard. There's been 2 females and a drake eclipse for a couple of weeks now.

Thanks to all for your help. Will pass it on to my friend, a RCP most definitely it is. Will give you the credit, of course. |=)|
