Potoos? (1 Viewer)

I was in Jamaica last week and was lucky enough to see a Northern Potoo during daylight hours. Is this species still Nyctibius jamaicensis or is it grouped in a different species? Thanks.

The Common Potoo and Northern Potoo were both formally Nyctibius jamaicensis.
The 45th AOU list now has them as separate species as:
Nyctibius griseus Common Potoo
Nyctibius jamaicensi Northern Potoo

Fittingly, the species on Jamaica (according to Avibase) is the Northern Potoo, Nyctibius jamaicensi.
