Purple Heron? (1 Viewer)

Dark looking heron this morning. Unfortunately bins only and very distant in overcast conditions (so very dark looking). Massive crop of photos taken. Is it enough to confirm Purple Heron or are the photo inconclusive? Photos cropped and slightly lightened. Purple Heron observed in the same location over last couple of days.

Edit: Another photo added to show colouration - Mallards clearly identifiable.
