Raptor migration Costa Rica (1 Viewer)

Hello all!

My friend who lives in the Cahuita area (Caribbean coast of Costa Rica) just send me a video of a large raptor migration taken late October.

Although the video does not give much of an indication of the species you can see there is a huge amount of birds and the flock lasted for about 30 minutes going north up the coast.

I would like to kindly ask your expertise and give a list of the common migrating BOP species on this coast.

I am having problems posting the video directly but here is the link;

Gracias in advance!

I can't tell from the video but the most common migrant raptors are Turkey Vulture, Broad-winged Hawk, and Swainson's Hawk. Literally millions of these species migrate through that area.
