Reptile from Sri Lanka (2 Viewers)

I think this is painted-lip lizard Calotes ceylonensis but it is a lot paler than most of the photos I have seen which generally show it to be brownish. Any thoughts appreciated.

I have it down as Painted-lipped Lizard and my version is not as pale, so I think its just settings and post-production.

Photo in the field guide much browner than both of ours, as are most of the ones on the internet, but I think you're right it is one. It is amazing how different many of the reptiles and amphibians were from the field guides. Pre internet, and without the help of Dulan, I think I would have only identified a small proportion through 'old school' field guide searching.
