Request for recordings of Sunda Blue Robin & Elegant Pitta (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

Myself and colleagues are putting together an acoustical analysis of two species complexes: Sunda Blue Robin Myiomela diana and Elegant Pitta Pitta elegans, for a potential taxonomic reclassification.

If anyone is able to provide sound recordings that are not already in the public domain (ie, Xeno-canto, Macauley and Avocet) please do email them over to me at [email protected] - you will of course be acknowledged in the published manuscript.

In particular we are after recordings of Sunda Blue Robin from Sumatra (however low the quality) and elegans and vigorsii Elegant Pittas - former from Timor or Central Moluccas (Seram, Buru), latter from Tanimbars.

In addition, any recordings of Large Niltava from throughout its range would also be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance,

James
