RFI - Southampton area - August Bank Holiday w/e (1 Viewer)

I have a few days to spend in the area over August Bank Holiday weekend with my student daughter.

Not done any birdwatching in this area before so keen to hear local's opinions on where to go. Heading down from Yorkshire early Saturday so will have Saturday pm, all day Sunday & Monday to explore & maybe some time Tuesday morning.

Both keen birders/photographers, daughter is a Marine Biology student & mad about cetaceans.

Also, any tips on reasonable accommodation appreciated.
