Salmonella outbreak (1 Viewer)

I found a pine siskin on one of my feeders, showing all the symptoms of salmonella. After taking all feeders down, I did some Googling and came up with


All three stories (and others) are from the last week.

Apparently pine siskins a re particularly susceptible to salmonella. The extended migration of very large numbers to Texas and elsewhere has caused outbreaks all over the country.
