Sanderlings all? – Oregon Coast, Dunes City (Siltcoos River Estuary) (1 Viewer)

Seen in late April. The two birds in the first photo appear to be sanderlings. Are all three birds in the last two photos also sanderlings? In the last two photos, the top bird appears to have different coloring on its face than the bottom bird. Maybe they're just add different plumage stages? Thanks in advance!

I believe all of them are sanderlings. The different colour you are seeing in the top bird is the bird moulting into summer plumage.
