Sandhill Cranes on the move in California. I'm right under one of the big flyways. Several big flocks last couple days. They are 1000 to 2000 feet up usually. Still so loud you can hear them coming in time to run out and see. But you have about 3-5 minutes at best as they are very fast, unless they are thermally overhead, which we sometimes are fortunate enough to see. They stop off in Lodi, California at a big wetland area.
