Sandpiper from Washington State (USA) (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Can anybody help me to identify this sandpiper, that I was last August 9th at Billy Frank Jr Nisqually NWR, near Olympia (Washington, USA)? I initially identified it as Western sandpiper, but not sure. Sorry for the quality of the picture.

Maybe Baird's sandpiper - long rear-end, scalloped upperparts.

Yes, as stated above it's a juvenile Baird's Sandpiper
