Just got back from my first trip.

I saw lots of lovely birds: widgeon, cormorants, tufted ducks, nuthatch, mistle thrush, buzzards.
But my favourite things were:

At the Ice Pool lots of herons nesting.
At Forge Farm Pool; lapwings, gosanders x10, gadwall 2 pairs, shoveler, oystercatcher ( could not tell how many feet!) and a snipe.

Thanks to he guy who pointed it out to me.

Not bad for a first visit!
