Few hours down the Valley this morning.

No sign of Firecrests near the gun placements,, though 17 Hawfinches flew west over the football pitch next to the golf course and disappeared over Priory woods.
There were roving tit flocks in trees beween Park Lane and the paddocks, which included several Goldcrests but no Firecrests.

30+ Siskin over the paddocks and a few Redpolls.

What the Hells going on ?!?!

On the Welsh coast over the summer, there was talk amongst the local birders about anglers on their patch being increasingly happy to shoot Goosanders and Cormorants.

I shall be removing these leaflets if I see them.
