This pic is on a local Facebook (Inch Island, Donegal) page. No species has been mentioned on the post. They look like Shelduck to me but red beaks aren't apparent.

Definitely shelduck. The light is just not good enough to see the bill colour (although I think I can make it out on some.)

Surprising that the red isn't as visible as the brown strip on the body maybe size counts.
