Wow, a lot of birds to go through on this thread! There's a chance that I've missed some birds in these lists.

1. I see Curlew Sandpiper, Red-necked Stints, Tibetan (Lesser) Sand Plovers and Broad-billed Sandpipers.
2. Curlew Sandpiper, Red Knot, Great Knot, Tibetan Sand Plover, Broad-billed Sandpiper, Pacific Golden Plover
3. Red-necked Stints, Red Knot, Broad-billed Sandpiper, Sand Plover sp. (don't think this is identifiable to species)
4. Curlew Sandpiper, Broad-billed Sandpiper, Great Knot, Tibetan Sand Plover, Ruddy Turnstone
5. Tibetan Sand Plovers, Broad-billed Sandpipers, Red-necked Stint
6. Curlew Sandpiper, Broad-billed Sandpiper, Red-necked Stint, Tibetan Sand Plover, Red-necked Phalarope. I think the bird on the extreme right is just another Red-necked Stint, but the dark mud behind really makes it looks like a Spoon-billed Sandpiper - do you have more photos to check?
7. Curlew Sandpiper, Broad-billed Sandpiper, Red-necked Stint, Tibetan Sand Plover, Ruddy Turnstone
8. Curlew Sandpiper, Tibetan Sand Plover. I think (but not entirely sure) the bird on the left is Tibetan based on plumage - it's possible that the posture or background makes the bill look larger
9. Red-necked Stint, Tibetan Sand Plover, Pacific Golden Plover, Common Redshank, (I think) Curlew Sandpiper
10. Curlew Sandpiper, Broad-billed Sandpiper, Red-necked Stint, Tibetan Sand Plover. Yes, front right in Red-necked Stint
11. Curlew Sandpiper, Broad-billed Sandpiper, Red-necked Stint, Tibetan Sand Plover
12. Red-necked Stint
13. Red Knot, Great Knot, Curlew Sandpiper, Tibetan Sand Plover, Greater Sand Plover. Yes, the bird you point out looks like Greater SP, there's also an out-of-focus Greater at lower left, and I think some of the others here are also Greater.

Yes: I think the "spoon" is the wrong shape

Yes, I noticed that one bird too. Other pictures confirm that it's the background combining with the bill to produce that effect.

Thank you very much for the detailed reply!

Thanks for confirming. I've been caught out many times by birds that look like Spoon-billed at first glance but turn out to be Red-necked. I expected that to be the case again here, but thought it was worth checking.
