Again at Eldernell. I just cannot resist sharing this. Was walking along the embankment when this short-eared owl swooped down onto the perch right in front of me, and stayed there, looking at me. Also, long-eared owl in a bush (finding that was an absolute nightmare), distant barn owl, and a hen harrier to end the day. No cranes, though
