Yesterday I went through the list of species in the Opus that are still missing photos, and realised that I have 17 of them to upload. Some are pretty awful quality record shots (e.g. Blue-crowned Chlorophonia and a couple of others), but will probably do until something better comes along. Three species (Ocellated Quail, Grey-headed Piprites, and a Zino's Petrel alongside a Feas) are photos of specimens from the British Museum's collection at Tring. Again, I thought it best to include them until photos of live birds are available. If these are are not considered appropriate for the Opus then feel free not to include them. All the photos were taken by me, Tom Jenner, but these specimen photos will need to be credited to the British Museum collection at Tring.
The first 4 are:
Blue-crowned Chlorophonia, Santa Maria de Jesus, Guatemala, January 2004.
Black-bellied Firefinch, near Juba, South Sudan, April 2011.
Brown-rumped Bunting, near Juba, South Sudan, April 2011.
Carmiol's Tanager, La Mosquitia, Honduras, July 2005.
Thanks
Tom
