Hello,
I am looking for a terrestrial telescope or monocular that is not very heavy or big, light with good optics, and with ep. zoom, apart from birding that goes well for planespotting... I don't know if better straight or at an angle.
I would be delighted to hear your recommendations or experiences.
thank you
Pepito

I would say go for straight. Zoom with too high power would give a narrow FOV and hard to hand hold steady without some type of support.
Straight scopes are also easier to aim, specially with a small moving target like a plane.

But I agree with Mono. Stabilized binoculars like the Kite APC 16x42 would be better for hand-held use.
