Stern in north Spain to id. (1 Viewer)

Hello Juancar,
I have (surely) the same thoughts like you:
this has to be an Arctic Tern, because it has the wing-pattern of an Arctic Tern. But what a long, down-curved bill for this species. But this is surely (just) with variation for an Arctic Tern, because it is one imo.

Scalloped scapulars and darkish leading edge to the wing makes this a 1cy bird.

I agree with Alexander here, this looks like an Arctic tern. I think that the down-curved bill is actually a photo artifact, and the bill is straight, but I might not be seeing it correctly. The bill also does seem quite long but it is still an Arctic for me.
