sueter why do bluetits go in and out of the box now in November (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

Firstly, on behalf of all the moderators, welcome to Birdforum.

Blue Tits will use boxes in winter to roost and occasionally as a store for food. I would guess your birds are just checking out the des res for winter 👍

Welcome to Birdforum. Yep, the blue tits will be checking out the boxes to roost in.

Hi sueter and a warm welcome from me too. It has been known for somewhere in the region of 15-20 to share a box overnight. Not quite sure how they all got in LOL, but it's one way to keep warm.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.
