Taking stills from video (1 Viewer)

It depends on a number of things. If you just want a screen sized still the easiest way is to simply pause the video and then take a screenshot.

If it is not too long a video then you can use a program like Irfan View to simply dump all the video frames as individual images. A work around if the video is long is to edit the video so it contains only the section you want your still from and then dump the frames.

Irfan View does have a more sophisticated frame capture system but I have never tried it.
