I have found in the internet, that grouse moors are areas of moorland in northern England and Scotland where grouse shooting takes place (probably red grouse):

The problem is, that hares with their huge incisors make holes in eggs of grouses and drink them. Moreover the large diastema in their jaws facilitates them to hold an egg and escape with it.
