Tufted duck / Scaup Herts (17th November) (1 Viewer)

Often I come across the odd tufted duck which make me have double take but this one more than usually with a roundish headed, Green sheen and seemed to have small black tip on the beak a little of grey on the back but enough to make me sure but also missing white around face so if anyone has thoughts it would be welcome.

It's an immature male Scaup. You can see the grey vermiculation coming through on the mantle, as well as the green colour on the head. As it's a male it won't get any white around the bill.

Maybe adult male still in eclipse rather than 1st-year male? Pass.
