Hello all,

Here are 2 Syrphidae pictures I took in Quebec, Canada (near Vermont USA) last July, 3rd, 2010.

At first I thought it was the same species but I realize now that it is surely not the case. The second one looks like a male Allograpta obliqua but I'm not sure.

Is somebody able to identify each species or genus?

Thank you very much for your appeciated help :)

Michel

Thank you for your help Linda,

Several persons indicates me finally Allograpta obliqua which is a synonym of Sphaerophoria bacchides.

So you were right!

Cheers,

Michel
